EITC Tax Credit Program
Redirect your tax dollars to Villa Joseph Marie! EITC (Educational Improvement Tax Credit) is a Pennsylvania state tax credit program that enables individuals and corporations paying Pennsylvania taxes to effectively eliminate their tax liability while making a donation to support need-based tuition assistance at Villa Joseph Marie. Donors receive tax credits equal to 75% of the contribution, up to a maximum of $750,000 per taxable year. The credit can be increased to 90% of the contribution, if the donor agrees to provide the same donation for two consecutive tax years.
Businesses authorized to do business in Pennsylvania and subject to personal income tax, corporate net income tax, corporate stock/foreign franchise tax, and more are eligible to apply. In most cases, donations also can be applied against federal net income, thus reducing federal income tax liability.
Please visit the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development website at www.newpa.com/eitc to learn more about the program and download the appropriate application forms. The one-page application is easy! If you have any questions about participating in the EITC program to benefit Villa Joseph Marie, please contact the Villa Joseph Marie Development Office at 215-357-8810 ext. 124, or your financial consultant, for more information.
