Help Us Meet Our Goal This Year!

Already, Villa has achieved nearly 65% of its Annual Fund goal for this year. But we cannot meet that goal without your support!

Every gift, regardless of size, enables Villa to build on its educational culture of excellence, provide access to students of all socioeconomic circumstances, maintain the school's facility and campus, and support the professional development and growth of our extraordinary faculty.

SPRING sport athletes, MARK YOUR CALENDARS:
For those interested in playing a SPRING sport, please check the Athletics webpage for information related to tryouts and what is needed from each athlete to be deemed eligible to participate. One of the requirements is attendance at the Concussion Education and Orientation presentation scheduled for Thursday, February 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the library--please mark your calendars! If you have any questions, please contact Athletic Director Becky Flynn Hensel. In addition, ImPACT testing will be provided on Monday, February 25 and Tuesday, February 26 after school in the library. Please use the sign-up genius link to schedule your appointment.

Rowing

Thanks to everyone who came to cheer on our rowers at the first Ergathon this past Friday night. Fun was had by everyone. The Ergathon helps support the team and cover the cost of new equipment. The rowing team will take delivery of 2 new eight oared shells at the end of this month. Thanks to all who participated in this event; its your generosity that makes this all possible.

Spring is almost upon us, which means that spring sports start up in a few weeks. As the winter seasons end, if you're looking for something new to be part of or just curious about what Villa Rowing is all about, come check us out! We will be holding  a prospective rowers meeting February 26 at 7pm in the library. At this meeting you will learn what were all about and meet some of the girls, parents and the coaches. No experience is required; any girl can join. No matter what your class  year, we have a spot for you. Currently we are running open practices for any interested athlete; practices are held on campus after school Monday through Friday. If you wish to attend, all you need to do is ask one of the girls on the team, or contact the coaches. It should be an exciting spring season. The fall season ended on a high note, and we are looking to carry that into the spring.  Any questions can be sent to Head Rowing Coach John Musial  john.musial18@gmail.com.
