• A "Become the Light" event is when a school turns on their campus lights at 8:20 pm (which in military time is 20:20, a shoutout to the class of 2020), allowing the whole community to see it as a symbol of strength, solidarity, recognition, and celebration.
• For the seniors who would like to participate — this is OPTIONAL — drive to Villa's campus at 8:00 pm to start getting into position. (Don't worry; some special guests will be there to guide you.) The car parade around the school will start at 8:20 pm (20:20), again, to honor your class of 2020. The entire campus will be lit up — the school, Maria Hall, Regina Hall, the sports garage, and the soccer field. 
• Because we are still under Government mandates, we have coordinated with the local authorities and set guidelines to make this a successful and safe event. Please note that this is for seniors only. Additional details were emailed to senior families and are available at www.vjmhs.org/careplan.

• Next week!  · Winning exclusive Villa items has never been so easy! Grab your comfy pajamas, charge those computers, and get ready to bid from home.  
• The Annual Spring Auction main event will now take place strictly online from Tuesday, May 5 (12:01 a.m.) through Saturday, May 9 (10:00 p.m.). If you enjoyed the 25 exclusive Pre-Auction items, then we're sure that you'll love the 200+ items that will be available for bid next week. 
• Raffle tickets are available at www.vjmhs.org/auction for the winner's choice of a Louis Vuitton Neverfull GM tote, valued at $1,490, or $1,000 cash. Second and third prizes of $500 and $250, respectively, also will be awarded. Winners need not be present at the May 9 drawing.

SCRIP

• Sales of physical gift cards through Villa's Scrip program have been suspended temporarily. The purchase of e-gift cards and reloading funds to existing gift cards is a great way to get the things you need while continuing to earn tuition credits. Sales of physical cards will resume when school has returned to normal hours.
