Physics Egg Drop

All of Villa's Physics classes tested the impulse-momentum theorem last week in the school gym. The students dropped eggs from various heights into homemade contraptions that consisted of only 10 pieces of paper and tape. The Objective: Don't let your egg break! Many girls succeeded in keeping their eggs whole, but even the eggs that broke served as valuable data for the experiment.

Annual Fund 2018-2019

Help Us Meet Our Goal This Year!

Already, Villa has achieved nearly 65% of its Annual Fund goal for this year. But we cannot meet that goal without your support!

Senior Parents – 12%

Junior Parents – 14%

Sophomore Parents – 8%

Freshman Parents – 17%

Please remember that every gift, regardless of size, enables Villa to build on its educational culture of excellence, provide access to students of all socioeconomic circumstances, maintain the school's facility and campus, and support the professional development and growth of our extraordinary faculty.

Attention Senior Parents

Villa's annual Father Daughter Dance, hosted by our Student Council, will be held on March 9, 2019 from 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. at the Warrington Country Club.  This is a new venue and we are all looking forward to a great evening!

Please help us make this last Father Daughter Dance for the Villa Class of 2019 a night to remember! In keeping with Villa tradition, the Parents' Guild is planning a slide show presentation that will be shared the evening of the dance. We want to commemorate some of the special moments that our senior Jems have shared with their father or the father figure in their life. In order to accomplish this, we need the senior parents to submit at least 3 photographs of your daughter with her father or father figure at various stages of her life (for instance, as a baby or toddler, pre-teen and current).

We request that you send your digital photos to no later than February 25, 2019. Please name the photo file using your daughter's name so that we can keep track of everyone that has submitted. If you are unable to send digital photos, please send in your hardcopy photos to Ann Borell c/o Grace Borell by February 25, 2019. Questions about submitting photos can be directed to Kathy McDonald at 215-421-0449 or email
