BALTIMORE, Md. & PRINCETON, N.J. – Loyola University Maryland's
Heather Merrifield continued to run the fastest 400-meter hurdles times in school history this season, running what was one of two school records for the Greyhounds as the women's track and field team competed at both the Morgan State University Legacy Meet and Princeton University's Larry Ellis Invitational.

Merrifield finished second in the 400-meter hurdles at the Legacy Meet, running 61.31 to break her own school record of 61.58 set earlier this season. So far during the 2019 outdoor season, the junior has run the four fastest times in school history. Her time on Saturday ranks third in the Patriot League this season and is also an ECAC Championships qualifying performance.

Loyola's 4x100-meter relay team of
Rhoda Miller,
Molly Smith,
Rachel Koller and
Katherine Schramm finished fourth at the Legacy Meet, running 48.59 to break the record of 48.67 set by the Greyhounds at the 2018 Patriot League Championships.

At the Larry Ellis Invitational, two Loyola runners had performances among the top-six in school history in their respective events.

Kayleigh Caggiano took 32
nd in the 1,500 meters, crossing the line in 4:35.91, the No. 3 time in Loyola history.

Senna Ohlsson ran in the elite 800 meters at the Larry Ellis, finishing 17
th in 2:10.12 as the sixth-fastest performance in school history. In Saturday's race, she was tops among five Patriot League runners.

Christina Daniels took 32
nd in the 5,000 meters (17:48.17), while
Mary Sutton was 41
st in 18:19.23. Mary Ellen Woods ran in the open 800 meters, finishing 15
th in 2:17.55.

At the Legacy Classic, Koller finished ninth in the final of the 100 meters, running a wind-aided 12.24; in the morning's heats, she crossed the line in 12.65, tying her for the second-fastest time in school history.
Ariana Santo Pietro was 18
th in the eventh (13.03).

Two other Greyhounds had top-12 finishes in the 400 hurdles behind Merrifield.
Devon Terwilliger ran 64.34 to take seventh, while
Eve Schoenberg was 11
th in 65.16.

Kathleen Sheperd took 14
th in the 100-meter hurdles, running 15.66, while
Gillian Blackwood was a place behind in 15.85.

Grayce Heinemann took 11
th in the 800 meters (2:18.82), leading three Greyhounds in the top-15.
Audrey O'Neill finished 13
th in 2:19.86, while
Carly Spinnler's 2:20.12 was 14
th.

Kate Ragone earned 10
th in the 1,500 meters (4:58.28) as Loyola again had three in the top-15.
Grace Jansson finished 13
th in 5:02.27, and
Gabrielle Silvestri was 15
th (5:02.89).

Courtney Kenny ran 59.13 to finish 18
th in the 500 meters.
Kelly Williamson won the 5,000 meters in 19:36.31, while Catie O'Hehir was fifth in 21:08.06.

Koller, Smith, Merrifield and Kenny ran 3:57.13 to finish sixth in the 4x400-meter relay.

Two men's cross country runners – Brandon Rossi and Sam Miller – ran in the 1,500 meters at the Legacy Meet. Rossi was 11
th in 4:17.72, while Miller took 12
th in 4:18.82.
