7th Graders

If you are a seventh grader, or are the parent of a seventh grader, now is the time to begin exploring your options for high school. Villa Joseph Marie offers a number of opportunities for seventh-grade girls to learn more about what it's like to be a student at Villa. We hope to see you on campus for at least one of these events!

6th & 7th Grade Practice Test

Saturday, March 21, 2020
9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

All students interested in attending Villa Joseph Marie are encouraged to take the 6th & 7th Grade Practice Test. While this is certainly not mandatory, it helps many students to become comfortable with the test and gain an understanding of where their strengths and weaknesses lie. It is important to note that the practice test is simply that—practice—and the results will not be considered if the student applies for admission as an eighth grader.

Seventh-grade students who score 90 or above on the 7th Grade Practice Test may be invited to participate in an Early Candidates Program. These students will interview prior to the 8th Grade Entrance/Scholarship Examination and have the opportunity to complete the admissions and acceptance process early.

Please note: All students applying for admission to Villa Joseph Marie—including Early Candidates—must take the Entrance/Scholarship Examination in the fall of eighth grade to be considered.

Rise & Shine Visits

To be announced

Visit Villa bright and early this spring! Seventh-grade girls and their parents are invited to Rise and Shine—an opportunity for students to experience their first taste of the Villa environment without losing a whole school day to shadow.

  • Our morning visits begin at 8:15 a.m., with breakfast and a presentation in the cafeteria.
  • Students then proceed to two sample classes while parents enjoy some one-on-one time with school administrators. This is a great opportunity to ask questions in an intimate and relaxed setting.
  • Visits end at 10 a.m., allowing students time to return to school without missing too much class time.
