Villa Joseph Marie presents the following summer camp programs to educate, excite, and inspire students throughout the summer. Check out our programs in athletics, academic enrichment, arts, service, and test prep.
Academics, STEM, & Test Prep

APPortunity (Rising grade 12)
For Villa students entering grade 12
Choose from 1 of 3 sessions:
- August 1 to 2 (Thursday-Friday), 9 am to 1 pm *Registration Closed*
- August 5 to 6 (Monday-Tuesday), 9 am to 1 pm
- August 12 to 13 (Monday-Tuesday), 9 am to 1 pm
Cost: $150
Rising seniors are encouraged to participate in this 2-day intensive preparation program for the upcoming college admission season. Our counselors are inviting college admissions professionals to work with students on their Common Application, Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR), interviewing skills, and essay review. Students will create their Common Application (2025 - 2026) and work towards completion.

Building Core Confidence (Rising grade 9) *CLOSED
For Villa students entering grade 9
July 22 to July 26, 9 am to 11:30 am
Cost: $450
Do you feel like your 9th grader missed out on truly learning major sections of her English/Math curriculum? Based on the results of our entrance test, this camp will highlight and review major areas that will help students get caught up with information that may have been missed during their 7th/8th grade years. This camp will set students up to be most successful in their core classes at Villa. *Is there a topic or area of interest that you know your student specifically needs to work on? Let us know in advance so that we can incorporate your student’s needs into the curriculum.
The EDGE (Rising grades 7-8)
For girls entering grades 7–8
July 8 to July 11, July 15 to 18, 9 am to 11:30 am (Mondays-Thursdays only)
Cost: $550
Two-week preparatory program for students interested in applying to Catholic high schools. This course focuses on HSPT preparation, (English and Math), resume writing, and interview skills. Strategies and skills learned at the EDGE will benefit students on entrance exams and all future standardized tests. It’s a fun and educational program whether your student is looking for a refresher or an improvement in scores.

Instrumental Music Camp (Rising grades 6-12)
For girls entering grades 6-12
Wednesdays or Fridays, June 12 through August 7 (9 weeks)
Cost: $25 per week OR $200 for 9 weeks
Orchestra – 9 am to 10 am
Concert Band – 10 am to 11 am
Jazz Band – 11 am to 12 noon
Guitar Group – 12 noon to 1 pm
Drum Line – 1 pm to 2 pm

As an introduction to Villa’s music program, the Instrumental Music Camp is for all students interested in playing an instrument AND joining the Villa Band and /or Orchestra. Experienced and non- experienced students are welcome. An instrument can be provided through the instructor, if needed.

Portfolio-Building for Young Artists (Rising grades 7-9)
For girls entering grades 7–9
July 8 to July 11, July 15 to 18, 1 pm to 4 pm (Mondays-Thursdays only)
Cost: $450 (includes portfolios and materials)
This two-week program introduces young artists to the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. Students will use these visual tools in creating their own works of art. Working from observation and imagination, students will develop critical thinking skills as they study still life drawings & painting, printmaking, and collage. An emphasis will be placed on portfolio building and student work will be individually reviewed. The course will culminate with each student preparing their pieces for a portfolio presentation of their best works on the last day of class. Students applying for high school art scholarships will benefit greatly from this course. Each student will leave with a portfolio to continue building in the future. Portfolios will be provided.

F.I.R.S.T.: Freshmen Involved in Reflective Service Together (Rising grade 9)
For Villa students entering grade 9
August 5 to August 8, 9 am to 12 pm (off campus)
Cost: $300 (includes transportation to service sites)
Our Jems are very involved in community service, and this is a chance for you, as a freshman, to come together before the start of the school year to take part in fun, reflective community service. This is also a fun way to meet your new Villa sisters and become more familiar with our school!
