Academic Enrichment & Leadership

Always with Love: Villa's Leadership Summit

Rising Grades 7-8

For girls entering grades 7–8

July 21 to July 25

Monday-Thursday

Cost: $350

Empowering leadership potential, this program focuses on developing personal growth, team-building skills, and confidence through engaging workshops and activities. Students will participate in interactive sessions to enhance communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills while learning what it means to lead with love and purpose. This summit culminates in a full day rock-climbing field trip, where students will put their team work and perseverance into action!

Aspire at Villa: HSPT Prep

Rising Grades 7-8

For girls entering grades 7–8
July 7 to July 10, July 14 to 17
Mondays-Thursdays only

9 am to 11:30 am

Cost: $550 ($275/week)

Formerly called "EDGE", this two-week preparatory program is for students interested in applying to Catholic high schools. This course focuses on strategies and skills that will benefit students on entrance exams and build confidence surrounding the application process.

Week 1 emphasizes math preparation and includes interview prep activities, helping students strengthen foundational skills and prepare to present themselves confidently.

Week 2 focuses on English and language arts and includes the opportunity for students to complete an admission interview, a requirement of Villa's application for admission.

It’s a fun and educational program! Whether your student is looking for a refresher or an improvement in scores, Aspire at Villa offers a supportive and enriching experience.

Crack the Case: Forensic Science

Rising Grades 6-8

Step into the world of forensic science in this exciting one-week camp. Designed for curious minds, this program introduces students to the fascinating field of criminal forensics. Through hands-on activities, campers will explore techniques used by forensic scientists to solve mysteries, analyze evidence, and uncover the truth.

The Nature of Books

Rising Grades 6-8

For girls entering grades 6–8

Monday-Thursday only

Cost: $325

Explore the beauty of the natural world through creative writing and bookmaking! In this camp, students will read and discuss essays and poetry about nature, then craft their own pieces as they learn about the art of bookmaking. Each camper will write, design, and create their own personalized book to take home at the end of camp.

Fine Arts

Join Summer Band Practice

Rising Grades 5-12

Incoming and prospective students are invited to join Villa's free summer band practices! Whether you’ve been playing for years or have never picked up an instrument, you’re welcome to join us—no experience necessary.

Come practice alongside current Villa band members, meet new friends, and experience the fun and community of making music together. Sessions will be led by our band director and held throughout the summer.

Bring your instrument if you have one—or just bring your curiosity and love for music!

Cost: $450 (includes portfolios and materials)

This two-week program introduces young artists to the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. Students will use these visual tools in creating their own works of art. Working from observation and imagination, students will develop critical thinking skills as they study still life drawings & painting, printmaking, and collage. An emphasis will be placed on portfolio building and student work will be individually reviewed. The course will culminate with each student preparing their pieces for a portfolio presentation of their best works on the last day of class. Students applying for high school art scholarships will benefit greatly from this course. Each student will leave with a portfolio to continue building in the future. Portfolios will be provided.

Villa's Summer Stage

Join us for this three-week Drama Camp where young performers will bring Disney's The Little Mermaid to life! Campers will develop acting, singing, and stagecraft skills while building confidence and teamwork in a fun, supportive environment. The experience culminates in an exciting performance, where family and friends can see their hard work shine on stage.

Athletic

Rowing

Rising Grades 6 - 11

Learn to Row Camp
For rising 6th-11th graders who have never rowed before
August 4 to August 8
3:30 pm to 6:00 pm
Location: Core Creek Park Boatyard in Langhorne, PA.
Cost: $350

VJM’s Learn to Row camp will introduce campers who are rising 6th- 11th graders, boys or girls, to the basics of rowing.

Campers will learn the fundamentals of boat handling, terminology, high school training on the ergs, and, of course, how to row! We’ll use the rowing machine (erg) and row on the sheltered, calm waters of Lake Luxembourg in Core Creek Park where Villa Joseph Marie practices during the year. Villa Rowing is celebrating its 10th year and has grown tremendously in a decade, winning the Stotesbury Cup Regatta, the largest HS sporting event in the country. Sending 15 boats Scholastic National Championships with 5 top 10 finishes in the Nation. Villa rowing has sent 26 athletes to Division I schools with a scholarship and more to come!

Coaches include Villa’s new head coach Allison Boehm, assistant coaches, as well as current athletes and alumnae.

Villa’s soccer camp helps young athletes develop their skills, build confidence, and love for the game in a fun and supportive environment. Join us this summer to train, make new friends, and take your game to the next level!

Open to players of all levels, this camp focuses on refining essential skills like batting, fielding, pitching, and base running in a fun and supportive environment. Villa Volleyball Camp offers players of all skill levels the chance to improve their game through focused training in serving, passing, setting, hitting, and defense.
