The Placement and Scholarship Exam (or HSPT) is required for admission to Villa Joseph Marie.

Note: Prospective students may take the HSPT at another location and request that the scores be sent to Villa. However, students who do not take the exam at Villa will not be considered for scholarships.

All students interested in attending Villa Joseph Marie are encouraged to take the Practice Placement Exam for sixth- and seventh-graders. While this is not mandatory, it helps many students become comfortable with the test and better understand their strengths and weaknesses. It is important to note that, as a practice test, the results will not be considered if the student applies for admission as an eighth grader.

Based on the results of this exam, students will be considered for Villa's Early Admission Program.
