Placement and Scholarship Exam

The Placement and Scholarship Exam (also referred to as the High School Placement Test) is required for admission to Villa Joseph Marie. 

Note: Prospective students may take the HSPT at another location and request that the scores be sent to Villa. However, students who do not take the exam at Villa will not be considered for scholarships.

Villa Joseph Marie invites 8th graders to join us for a review session in preparation of the Placement & Scholarship Examination. Students will spend time refreshing their English and Math skills with some of Villa's extraordinary teachers.

All students interested in attending Villa Joseph Marie are encouraged to take the Practice Placement Exam for sixth and seventh graders. While this is not mandatory, it helps many students to become comfortable with the test and gain an understanding of where their strengths and weaknesses lie. It is important to note that, as a practice test, the results will not be considered if the student applies for admission as an eighth grader. This Practice Exam is open to both boys and girls.

Based on the results of this exam, students will be considered for Villa's Early Admission Program.
