Get ready to sip a mint julep and place your bets at Villa’s most extravagant event of the year—“Run for the Roses: A Night at the Derby.” This year’s Annual Spring Auction will celebrate the sights, sounds, and styles of the famed Kentucky Derby.

The Annual Spring Auction is Villa’s largest fundraiser. Every year the proceeds from the Auction are returned to Villa to improve either the education of our girls or the environment in which they are being educated. Please assist us in making this year’s Auction an exciting evening that benefits a very worthy cause.

Here’s how you can participate:

Attend the Auction
*Online Registration is no longer available. For reservations, please call Maureen Cleary at 215-357-8810, ext. 124.*
We're going to have a great time! Get to know fellow Villa community members, show your support for Villa's talented young women, and win some great prizes! Register with friends, or simply note your daughter's class year and you will be seated accordingly.

Donate a Gift
Please consider donating a gift or monetary donation to support the Live or Silent Auction.  Gifts of all varieties and sizes are truly needed and appreciated!  Some popular gift categories include: electronics, home items, jewelry, kitchenware, vacation homes, theme baskets, gift certificates, and more.  Feel free to donate a gift on your own or go in with other families for a larger item.  Don't feel like going out and shopping for a gift?  Monetary donations also are greatly appreciated!

Volunteer
For many years, the Auction Committee's motto has been "many hands make light work." Our Committee members:

  • help collect donations and prepare them for auction,
  • set up and decorate the gym for the event,
  • plan seating, dining, and entertainment,
  • work the bank the evening of the Auction, and
  • assist with other Auction-related tasks.

The Auction is a big undertaking, but with the help of our Villa community members, we come together each year to put together a successful event — and have a little fun along the way! If you are interested in volunteering in some capacity, please contact Maureen Cleary, Director of Institutional Advancement, at 215-357-8810, ext. 124, or mclea@vjmhs.org.

Buy a Raffle Ticket
This year, in honor of our horseracing theme, the Auction will feature a Win-Place-Show raffle format.  A $25 ticket purchase will put you in the running to win one of three cash prizes — $5,000, $1,000, or $500. Raffle tickets will be included in your Auction invitation, which will be sent in January 2013. Additional tickets will be available through the school office.

Sponsor the Auction in our Ad Book
Villa's Auction Ad Book is a wonderful opportunity to promote your business to the more than 300 people who attend Villa's Auction each year.  There are a variety of advertising opportunities for businesses of all sizes.  Parents are also welcomed to submit ads with a special "shout out" to their daughters! Click on the link above to purchase your ad, or download the ad form and return it with your payment to Villa Joseph Marie High School, 1180 Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966 Attn: Maureen Cleary.

If you have any questions about the Auction, please contact Maureen Cleary, Director of Institutional Advancement, at 215-357-8810, ext. 124, or mclea@vjmhs.org.
